I'm in the middle of Inkdeath. It's finally gotten sorta interesting, but the author's lack of Christian morality is annoying me.

*gasp* She's come out with the third one? I never heard that!
Yeah, most (and I say most, not all) of her characters are rother nasty.

I've given up hope on Inkdeath pretty much, but I don't think I can resist the temptation to read it just to complain about it.

I wanted to read it to find out what happened. I think if it were told differently, I would absolutely love the whole story. It's a really cool idea.

I finished it earlier, and it was worth reading. I wish we saw more of Dustfinger, though! I would be perfectly happy if he were the hero of the story, instead of Mo.

Oh yes, Mo is incorrigible. I think Dustfinger was the only character I really liked. He's unique! Basta *doesn't remember whether he was in book 2* was rother intresting as well, but not my favorite.

I've been through Inkheart now, and I thought it was pretty good, actually. I'm reading Inkspell and I'm enjoying it. Unless it takes a drastic turn for the worse in the last sixth of the book, I'm going to rank it below Inkheart, but still pretty good.

I finished Inkheart a while ago and I liked it. I am currently waiting for someone to return Inkspell to the library. My sis thinks I am crazy but I didn't like Dustfinger that much. *ducks to avoid flying objects thrown by her sis* I felt sorry for him, wished there was a way to get him back to his world, but I didn't like him.

Adalin, I felt almost the same way. I actually like him better in Inkspell, since he seems more like a good guy, and in fact, has been questioning himself about his cowardice and evil deeds in Inkheart.

I do like Dustfinger a lot more now that I have read Inkspell. He definitely improves.
