I just put the finishing touches on a PM system! To PM somebody, just click the link on their profile that says "PM This User" and type your message in the form that appears.

Has anybody else been getting errors with the PM system? I just got one today that gave me an error. If everybody is getting errors, I'll have to take it down again until I have time to fix it.

Sorry about this, but the PM system will have to go for now. It seems to be broken, and I can't figure out what's wrong with it. I'll be sure to let everybody know when it's up again.

It's back! I think I've got it working now, so PM away, and post here if it doesn't work.

Okay, it mostly works. I've noticed that replying tries to send the PM to YOU, not to the person you are replying to. So you'll have to work around that. I'll try to fix it soon!

Jordan, when you PM someone, where does it go? Their e-mail or their little profile doohickey? Is it safe?

It goes to their PM box on the forum. It's safe, don't worry.

    Where would one find that?

Look underneath the Popular Tags on the front page It's the first link there. It will change to reflect how many messages are in your inbox.

The PM system is coming down. Without being too geeky, there was a major security hole in the code, which needs to be fixed before it can be safely used. Everybody's information is safe, we have not been hacked.

I don't know when the PM system will be back, but there is somebody working on a fix.
