Thanks to everybody who participated in the 2nd Annual Incredibooks Summer Read-a-Thon! We had a great turnout with 27 participants reading enough pages to make a librarian cry tears of joy.

Ruth and I went through everybody's scores for this year to double-check for accuracy in the addition. Two days later, we finally got the totals adjusted and fixed up correctly. Some of you may notice that you read more pages than you thought! Here are the official totals:

    zakree1 read 840 pages.

    Sloan read 909 pages.

    dramm read 1,263 pages.

    GotBooks read 1,536 pages.

    jconn read 1,962 pages.

    Rebekah read 2,093 pages.

    Kyle read 2,262 pages.

    swordsman135 read 4,238 pages.

    kiddream read 4,870 pages.

    Jordan read 5,127 pages.

    monkeygal693 read 6,782 pages.

    Ruth read 7,700 pages.

    Valbug read 8,137 pages.

    Pip read 8,224 pages.

    DaughterofLight read 8,352 pages.

    Alyosha read 9,081 pages.

    Sarah read 9,570 pages.

    Jedimaster17 read 10,171 pages.

    C Triebold read 10,710 pages.

    Alassiel read 10,836 pages.

    Ben read 10,957 pages.

    Glittermouse11 read 12,426 pages.

    MelodyJM read 13,533 pages.

    Owan read 14,266 pages.

    Adalin read 18,736 pages.

    msfelfbjf read 25,718 pages.

    Lady_Gwenne read 26,251 pages.

All together, we read 236,550 pages this summer. Let's have a round of applause!

Okay, you want me to tell you who won the prizes, right? Here are our winners:

Lady_Gwenne is our first place winner, and gets to choose between Isle of Fire by Wayne Thomas Batson, Raising Dragons by Bryan Davis, DragonSpell by Donita K. Paul, and Beyond the Reflection's Edge by Bryan Davis.

Our three randomly-drawn winners are Pip, swordsman135, and Sloan.

After Lady_Gwenne has made the first choice, our three random winners can post their choices from the three remaining books. We're going on a first come, first served basis, so speak up if you are a winner!

All winners, please post your choice here, and then send a private message to me with the address you want your book shipped to. Make sure you have your parents' permission to give us your address. We promise we won't sell it or give it to anybody except the author who will be sending the book to you.

Thanks for participating, everybody, and thanks for helping to make this the biggest Read-a-Thon yet!

Fourth place? *keels over* Wow! Thanks!

Huge congratulations, Gwenne! You definitely deserve it with all the reading you did! *cheers*

And you too Sloan, Pip, and Swordsman! The lucky winners!

And yay Incredibooks on reading 200,000 plus pages! How many was it last year?

Last year we had five participants who read around 88,000 pages. Oh, and we have nothing to do with your ranking. You were the one who read the pages!

Hey, T-shirts are a great idea! We'll keep that in mind. I'm already mulling over ideas for next year.

maybe someone should make them on cafepress.com then whoever wants one can buy it from them. But their t-shirts are thin and rather cheap, so maybe not

I do have an account on Zazzle.com for another project, and they make higher quality products. The shirts would probably be more like $15 or $20, though.
