    Previously, we've stuck with only books started on or after June 1st. So it would be the next book you start.

    I have a question...are non fiction books/pages allowed to be counted towards your page count? I haven't seen anything that say either No or Yes, so I thought I'd get someone to clarify. I know on another reading challenge I believe it was novels/fiction only, or something of that sort, so I wasn't sure. Thank you!

    Aaah! Don't ask such questions!

    I sure hope so, or else my already-pitiful page count would be cut in half...haha.

    @ForeverFan,

    Yes, non-fiction most definitely counts! We mainly talk fiction here, but non-fiction discussion and counting is just fine. We're glad you want to stretch your brain a bit.

    Great, thanks Jordan! I just took a break from fiction for a while to concentrate on some non fiction, and I forgot about the Read-a-thon when I decided that, but I'm glad I can count them. Thank you!

    It ends August 31st. (11:59 PM of that day, if you want to be technical.)

    August 31st, 11:59 PM, your time. The Read-a-Thon thread will close around 6:00 AM on September 1st, 'cause I can't stay up 'til midnight to close it.

    Ha, I've read a bunch but have fallen so far behind in documenting it all that I don't think I'll even try. Same as last year except worse. Bad me. But applause and cookies to everyone trekking onward!

    Bridge to Terabitha by a Katherine Paterson. 128 pages.
    Sad for reasons I don't think the author intended.

    Really? Expound. I read it forever ago and mostly remember being annoyed with her theology.

    Does anyone have any goals they want to meet before the end of August? My main one, at the moment, is to finish the Redwall series!

    What time does the read-a-thon exactly end? Can we add pages the day after, if we read them the day before?

    I will be closing the thread sometime early next morning (6:00-ish). You can add pages if you read them today until then.
