FAQ
What is Incredibooks supposed to be?
We like to think of ourselves as a constantly growing book review site. You can search for reviews and browse by category and comment on the reviews, giving Incredibooks a blog-like feel. Occasionally, we will blog about new releases and other book related topics. Also, if you want to join the discussion, you can join the Incredibooks Forum. We generally try to add one new review per week.
Why do you link to Amazon?
There are links to Amazon on all the reviews. Clicking on them will take you directly to the book on Amazon, and if you buy it, we receive a percentage of the sale. This does not cost you any extra, and it will help pay for our Web space.
What ages do you recommend for these books?
Our four age categories are All Ages, Younger Readers, Older Readers and Advanced Readers. Books rated All Ages are suitable for everybody. Younger Readers refers to readers who are under thirteen years old. Older Readers are readers over thirteen years old. Advanced Readers are 15 and up. We have made it easy to tell at a glance whom the book is suitable for. As you scroll through a page of reviews, you will notice icons on the right-hand side of the screen. They all say “Ages” at the top, and underneath is a number.
What books are good to read out loud?
We’ve marked several books as being Good Read Aloud books. These books are great stories to enjoy together.
How does your rating system work?
The star rating system is on a scale of one to five, with one being “Read this book if you need something to do” and five being “Go out and buy this book right now!”
Why is there a little icon next to some posts?
When you see this icon, it means that we’ve given this book our highest rating. Five stars, top on the list, everybody should read it. If you don’t like anything but the best, these are for you. You can browse all Incredibooks by clicking here.
