    Pip here again; I’m reading a very good poetry book for school called “A Child’s Anthology of Poetry” by…Elizabeth Sword, I think? I’ll be posting some poetry from there here soon, I just don’t feel like it right now! :| Here’s something neat I wrote:

    May God inspire your soul to make wonderful works for Him;

    May the ink in your pen never run dry;

    May the point of your pencil never grow dull;

    May the white stacks of paper never grow shorter, and may you always have them near you;

    May your writings bless those reading beyond your cluttered desk;

    May hearth-lighted bookstores embrace each new creation as a beautiful thing;

    May your hand be ever steady and your eyes, may they never grow weary;

    And may God be the center of everything you ever write.

    Let’s see if I can remember this poem…

    “Remember the city, the city remember,

    The one that lies under the ground.

    The city, the city, always remember

    That’s where treasure will be found.” — Jeanne DuPrau

    Ooh, neat-o!

    Water water all around and all the boards did shrink,

    Water water all around and not a drop to drink. ~Coleridge, Rime of the Ancient Mariner

    Pip here again; I just found a really good poem in The Gammage Cup! (See Minnipin Books thread)

    “Picklick in woods,

    Taste cool green air,

    Hear splash of brook,

    Feel spiders in hair.

    Picklick in meadow,

    Watch butterflies flutter,

    See sun on the grass,

    Taste ants in the butter!”

    I think a picklick is a picnic. :lol:
