Pip
Member*agrees with Aly* Yupyup, I’ve started books that were great and then let the bookmark rot on Chapter 2 for a bit. Foony how that is…
I’m experiencing an up-and-down lull wi. reading, and right now I can’t hardly read anything! Mainly cause my Dad just got outta the hospital. He’s fine now, tho’.

MemberGlad your dad’s alright, Pip.
Reading the book Lost by Gregory Maguire. And I just finished Seeing Redd which is just about as stupid as the first book was.

MemberGregory Maguire…you are brave. After reading several detailed reviews of Wicked I’m staying far away from anything by him.

MemberI haven’t read any Wicked reviews nor read Wicked but Mirror, Mirror wasn’t too bad. Reminded me of The Book Thief infact.
Still reading Lost…

MemberI just finished Eulalia. I guess The Mystery of the Roman Ransom is next.

MemberI think I’m going to start The Story of Rolf and the Viking Bow next, but that’s not set in stone.

MemberWe have that book but I’ve never read it.
Nearly done with The Shining Comapany for school, then I start The Ramsay Scallop, also for school.

MemberWhat do you think of the Shining Company?

And despite that I will add that you do well to steer away, Alyosha, and I shall never recommend his books to anybody.
I think I shall now take my first taste of Shakespeare. *is scared*
September 30, 2008 at 5:45 pm #40790Pip
MemberI’ve read adapted *gasp* works by Shakespeare, but usually Shakespearean adaptions aren’t that unorthodox.

I finished The Shining Company today and liked it. It was well researched and well-written.
Heheh, I’ve joined Goodreads the other day!
[edit] Umm, that went a little haywire! And I now have 450 posts on Incredibooks!

MemberHey, I’m on Goodreads too, not that I ever do anything there. Maybe I will in the future.
September 30, 2008 at 6:12 pm #40793Sarah
MemberI’m reading Swallows and Amazons. The Mystery of Roman Ransom will have to wait…
October 1, 2008 at 1:32 am #40794Pip
MemberOoh yeah, we read Swallows and Amazons aloud and liked it; actually, I read it to meself and then we all read it aloud.
Thanks, Jordan.
Nasty URLs…Hey Alassiel, p’raps you and I could be friends on there? What’s your Goodreads name?
I’m nearly done with Strong Poison!!! I like it.
Alyosha, how many Jeeves books are there and is it a series? I need to invest and have no idea how to go about it.
Must one read ’em in order if it is a series?
October 1, 2008 at 2:23 am #40795Owan
MemberWikipedia, Pip.

*has never read Jeeves* I’ve had parts of two of the books read to me though.
