My favorite piece of of poetry is from the beginning of Legend of Luke

    The young must grow old

    whilst the old grow older

    cowards will shrink

    while the bold grow bolder

courage may blossom in quiet hearts

for who can tell where bravery starts

truth is a song oft left lying unsung

some mother bird protecting her young

those who lay down their lives for friends

the echo rolls onward it seldom ends

those who never turned and ran but stayed

this is a warrior born not made

living in peace aye many a season

calm in life and sound in reason

till evil arrives a wicked hoard

driving a warrior to pick up his sword

the challenger rings then straight and fair

    justice is with us

    beware beware

Wow!! It showed all of his face that is amazing!! VFD stands for Volunteer Fire Department.

The island is portrayed as bad not good so I am inclined to think that it was there just to cause the B’s suffering.

Yes it is REALLY maddening but don’t worry he doesn’t end the book abruptly.

The author is L.B Graham. In those first chapters three main characters died and one of them I liked and another one I sorta liked. This is the last book in the series so we already knew these characters.

I read Lord of the Rings. Which I really liked and I am in the middle of Ivanhoe. The reading is a different style but you kinda get used to it.
