    Oh well… ;) I guess I don’t mind. ;)

I tried both PBS and BookMooch for the longest time, but most of the books I obtained through them were used and cheesy, or the ones I wanted were already taken ages ago. The shipping costs were becoming immense after a while, so I stopped. I don’t think I ever deleted my accounts officially, either; there are a bunch of book requests and/or deletions sitting in my old email account. >:-)
Slouchy hats! The prospect is amusing.
Does anyone have any philosophy/apologetics type of thing that they’d be willing to part with?

Amusing, Pip? What’s that mean? :D

Hee hee, I wouldn’t ever part with my C. S. Lewis philosophy/theology books (other than the fact that I don’t really own them, they’re all my dad’s except one. :D) Well, take that back. I have The Great Divorce. Which is quite interesting, but I might part with it if you had a book that I really really wanted. (read: another C. S. Lewis book…)

I also have the second book of the Arthur Trilogy by I-forget-who. I didn’t think it was that great. I know where I can get the third too…

I got books in the mail yesterday from Alyosha. ::happy:: :)

Already thinking about how I could trade for more, and contemplating PBS and BookMooch more and more… :) I am so addicted to reading. :)

I should really go through my books and compile an actual list instead of random things popping up every other page. :)

I have a paperback copy of Harpist in the Wind I’m willing to part with. I want a hardback copy for my library but got a paperback by mistake… The only problem is it’s the third in a series so unless you’ve read the first two it’s not much interest to anyone. Although I highly recommend the series. It’s got to be one of best series I have ever read.

In case anyone wanted to see… here are the photos of the beret I made for Alyosha. :)

And I have another book to swap. It’s called Angelwalk, by Roger Elwood. NOT A KIDS BOOK – probably not for anyone under 16 or 18. (no swearing, but it gets a bit graphic in places, and in other places it states some facts about sin which do add to the theme of the story, but would be inappropriate for the younger audience.) I was given it; I read it and didn’t like it – just going to pass it on. It’s an ex-library book; with the card in the front. Otherwise good condition.

I have a paperback copy of Hood by Stephen Lawhead I’m willing to trade, if anybody wants it.

    Bumping this thread up. :)

I’m looking for three Timothy Zahn books – Heir to the Empire trilogy. Got a friend who’d like to own them, and I wouldn’t mind reading the other two that my library doesn’t have.

Bump-bump! New summer! I think I should make a new thread for this… if anyone is interested in swapping books, that is. I think I have at least one fantasy book I’m ready to pass on…. plus as usual I’m open to knitting or crocheting something.

I love “The Sword Bearer” by John White. I have almost all of that series. I am stuck on book three though.

Mel, have you read “The Seven Sleepers” series by Gilbert Morris?

I’m looking for the last book of the John White series, btw! :) My uncle has all but #6.

I read one book of that series early this spring and wasn’t too impressed… I guess I’m a little old for the Seven Sleepers now. Sure looked like a cool series when I was 12, though. XD

Going to make a new swap thread tonight.

oh, that is cool. I still like the Seven Sleeper series. (even at age 19..) I just have the first four books actually of the John White books.
