Three weeks! Yay!
Here’s a good thread on NarniaWeb discussing the DVD, courtesy of some lucky Narnia fans from overseas, where Prince Caspian is already out on DVD.
Specifically see this post, where the deleted scenes are discussed! I almost cheered when I read that there’s only one S+C scene in the whole thing! From the descriptions, I wish some of these scenes would have been in the final film, but oh well. Too bad there doesn’t seem to be an extended cut in the works. I’d take it if all the deleted scenes were put back in. Stuff from the book is worth one S+C scene!
Oops, we missed a few days. So it’s… *does some calculating* …17 days left?
I’ve lost count, our internet was out up here fer two days!
Eek! :o That doesn’t sound fun…
16 days…
*twiddles thumbs* What, exactly, do these people do between the time they release it to theatres to the time it comes out on DVD? I’ve always wondered.
They sit around and watch it over and over, while sniggering at us poor mortals who have to wait until December. (Except for the lucky folks from Sweden and Chile. Why were they granted a kinder fate? Why them? Why not–say–just for a random example, you know–Canada?)
Uh, part of this is that once the movie is in the theater, it can’t come out on DVD until all the theaters are done showing it. PC in the US ran until July, and since some countries were just getting it them, I’d be willing to bet it was in theaters until at least August. Then, y’know, they have to make the DVD extras! And waiting for Christmas to boost their sales doesn’t hurt, either.
14 days!
Only two weeks! Yippee!!!!
Yay!!!
10 days…
Only 9 days!
8 now!!!
6 days! :o Less than a week!!!
