5 days! Fortunately we’ll have relatives here over the weekend, so I’ll be distracted and won’t go crazy with waiting.

Yeah, and check out the post on NarniaWeb! There are a couple interviews with the cast, and Ben Barnes really looks like he’s ready to play King Caspian.

It looks like I won’t be watching it today either, so we’re in the same boat. ;)

It turns out, I was at the grocery store last night, and was staring longing at the rent a dvd machine, with Prince Caspian displayed at the top, when my mother walks over and shows me the coupon that came with our receipt: 5 free movie rentals! So I got Caspian, waltzed home, and told my family to come watch Narnia with me. They naturally assumed it was LWW, until we got to the DVD menu and someone went, “Wait a minute. That’s Miraz’s castle!” At that point I just cracked up laughing and explained.

SO we got to watch it the day it came out after all. :D

Yuppers! I was quivering with excitement and grinning like an idiot through most of the movie.

However, my sis and I officially agree that they ruined Reepicheep. :x

Hehe. (That smilie is great. )

*clears throat* Despite varied opinions, I can assure you that Reepicheep… I have no idea. I haven’t seen it yet. :P

Coolness, Alassiel. Was that the single disc one?

*spoilers, sort of* Just watched the deleted scenes (three cheers for Youtube!). They were ok. I can see why most of them were cut. The nursery one was…hmm. It didn’t make much sense anyhow since Peter should have known about Miraz’s son already…

I’m really glad they cut out the dryad scene, though I liked it–they already stole the “what happens if we die here?” conversation from LB, and was there something else too? can’t remember.

I would have preferred the archery scene to The Scene We Do Not Speak Of, it’s not really flirting at all, just Susan being a jerk.

Yay for book lines in the Choosing the Marshalls scene! (and the fact that Caspian and Peter are on better terms again) The leaving-for-the-NR bit was good too. Those and the balcony scene I wish they had left in.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nN78cvoiyH8 and the rest are in bits and pieces around the site I think. *end spoilers*

If Reepicheep was ruined I didn’t notice, I was too busy mourning Book!Peter’s demise.

Yup, it was single disc, so i haven’t seen any of the extras yet. I’ll do that whenever our copy gets here.

Reep didn’t seem to get the same respect he does in the book, and the knightly manner he has is present far less in the movie. Also, I thought they almost tried too hard to make him funny sometimes.

*remains silent lest she scream over Reepicheep*

I now, at this point, have NO idea what Netflix is doing; they did NOT send out the DVD the day it came out, and I haven’t been on our list since, so sob sob for me.

GOOD GRIEF! They cut out an archery scene to throw in That Which We Do Not Speak Of But Only Reference To???? *is fuming mad*
