MemberUrrgh! I had Sable Quean reserved at my library. They called me last week and told me it was in, but I didn’t get there to pick it up in time, so they put it back on the shelf. They only hold reserved books for two days. When I went today, it was gone already!

MemberAw.
Honestly, though, I didn’t really think it was that great. But my review is coming out on the website soon, so I’ll leave it at that.

MemberI have read all of the Redwall books, and really like them, but the Sable Quean was kind of disappointing…
I like the book, but the Sables always lose. It gets really annoying when the Redwallers always win! It hardly seems fair to me that the vermin always lose..

MemberYeah, I have a really bad case of feeling sorry for the vermin too. Especially since we get to hear so much of their side of the story and they all seem to have their own inner squables, and they’re all just so miserable and I just sit there and hope that everything will come out all right and they’ll be converted to the Redwaller’s side but they just die in the end!!!
Sorry about the run-on sentence there…

MemberJust found the description for the next Redwall book! Sounds like pretty typical Redwall to me. I like the title though. Wish he would do another Castaways book soon.
The Rogue Crew
From Salamandastron’s Western Shores, to the High North Coast, here they come. Captain Rake Nightfur, and his Long Patrol Hares, with
Skor Axehound and the Rogue Crew Sea Otters. Marching boldly into a
thrilling saga, singing, feasting, swashbuckling, and battling.
Questing for the infamous ship Greenshroud, crewed by Searats and
Corsairs, captained by the murderous Razzid Wearat, terror of both sea
and land. His aim, the conquest of an Abbey! Was there ever such a
blood and thunder chase? The fate of Abbot Thibb and his Redwallers
hangs in the balance. Who will be first to the gates, who can save the
legendary Abbey from the clutches of a Wearat? On, on, to victory or
death!

MemberHm, doesn’t sound like there’s much new. I hope it will be better than the last couple Redwalls. Honestly, I didn’t really like Doomwyte or Sable Quean.
Bringing back a Wearat should be interesting…June 12, 2010 at 2:47 pm #43090Adalin
ParticipantAt least it has the Long Patrol. I love the Long Patrol! They are awesome!!

MemberI liked Sable Quean. It had enough unexpected plot twists to keep me surprised and reading, like Ambry the badgermaid , Triggut the crazy hedgehog , and Vilaya not being dead . I liked Buck pretty well as a main character, and Diggs is such a riot. Overall, I really enjoyed it.

MemberI love Redwall. When I was younger I used to always take out the movie (it was a animation one) But I haven’t read all of the books because sometimes they are just to slow moving for me so then I just end up giving up on them but next time I go to the library I might take out some of the books because I took one out like I don’t know how many months ago and it wasn’t slow moving at all.

MemberI went onto the Redwall website and you actually have to pay to get a membership to play
on it! Otherwise you could just look at all of the book reviews and buy Redwall books. :x
In case any of you are interested this is the website http://www.redwall.org

MemberI have read Redwall and some of the others but I really should read them all over again to decide which one is my favorite.

MemberI am in the middle of one of the books but I haven’t quite finished it yet but it’s AWESOME. It’s called Eualia or something like that.
