    Okay, I’ve noticed a couple people who’ve read a lot of Star Trek books this summer.  As I’m a pretty big Trekker, I thought it might be fun to discuss Star Trek.  Do you watch it?  Which series do you watch?  Who are your favorite characters?

    Our family has worked our way through all of Next Generation and we’re currently on season 3 of Voyager.  We’ve also seen a few episodes of the Originals and DS9. 

    In NG, Picard and Data are my absolute favorite characters.  I thought I could never like any crew as much as NG, but I’ve found myself falling in love with Voyager.  I love Captain Janeway, and the rest of the crew is pretty awesome too.  Vulcans and Klingons get on my nerves.

    I’m not a die-heart star trek. I’ve only seen a couple of the original series but I really like the movies with Captain Picard. What I really like is Stargate!

    Well, I’ve watched all the series, whether on TV or Youtube, and I really think that Enterprise is the best, then TNG in a close 2nd and TOS in an even closer 3rd. DS9 is 4th and Voyager is 5th.

    I’ve watched bitsties and snippets from a lot of them, but I don’t remember any of it because my dad would watch it when I was little and kind of quit after he’d seen them all 10+ times, so by the time I was old enough to enjoy it he didn’t hardly watch it any more. That being said, I have a friend who’s a star trek fanatic and in order to have a conversation with him I started watching it. I watch the original series, since my dad says that’s the best one. I’m eventually going to get to the others. But my favorite character, far and away above another other,  is Spock. :D  I really, really, really like Spock.

    That’s funny, ‘cuz my dad says the original series is corny.  He still got annoyed when we started watching it without him though, so he can’t mind it too much.  :)

    Has anyone read any “Relaunch” books of Star Trek?
