My older and younger sister were reminising (sort of) about Father Brown the other day.
I’m reading Pendragon: The Merchant of Death. Oh joy.
Oh, my! There are so many books I’m reading right now. My top three are Do Hard Things by Alex & Brett Harris, Sir Thursday by Garth Nix, and Semper Fi! by various authors.
Wow, it is about time for my yearly re-reading of LOTR.
Yesterday I read Kingdom’s Dawn by Chuck Black, but it could be a while before we get the next couple of books from the library, so…
I started Huck Finn the other day, but I really want to finish Rise of the Dibor, which I’ve been stuck in for months.
Is that the one by Christopher Hopper? How is it?
I’m actually not reading anything at the moment except for Pharaohs of Ancient Egypt for schoolwork.
Yes, it’s Christopher Hopper’s book, and I don’t like it much. I don’t think he writes very well, and there are literally hundreds of grammar mistakes that drive me crazy.
On top of everything else, I started The Prince and the Pauper.
I started The Story of the Treasure Seekers.
Hooray! Hope you like it.
Terrify No More by Gary Haugen. I think. Excellent book if you can stomach it.
The Well-Wishers. I finally finished Father Brown!
And double-posting ’cause nobody else is reading, apparently!! *glares meaningfully at all the members who aren’t posting!*
Now I’m reading The Enchanted Castle and enjoying it immensely.
:o I’ll post!!! I’ll post!!!
Ooh, that’s a good one.
I’m reading The Story of the Treasure Seekers at present.
I’m reading My Brother Sam is Dead.
I just finished Bridge to Terabithia. What a book! Started 100 Cupboards.
I am reading The Legend of the Firefish. So far I am not impressed.
Nesbit’s Book of Dragons. It’s very amusing.
