I finished Isle of Fire, and enjoyed it most thoroughly. I think it is his best book yet. The Vikings are frightening, the end battle was awesome, and the Merchant’s lair is so cool!
“The Moonspinners”; some good I’d got on a whim through Paperbackswap, it’s alright. And “Piercing the Darkness” by Frank Peretti. I really liked the first book, this is it’s sequel, and sofar I’m liking this one.
“'Such nonsense!' declared Dr. Greysteel. 'Whoever heard of cats doing anything useful!'
'Except for staring at one in a supercilious manner,' said Strange. 'That has a sort of moral usefulness, I suppose, in making one feel uncomfortable and encouraging sober reflection upon one's imperfections.'” -- Susanna Clarke,
