    Thanks everyone I went through the last couple of pages and added a TON of books to my summer reading list! Thanks for all the great ideas!

    I am reading The VonTrapp Family Singers for school.  It is very good.  Not very close to the movie, but there is some stuff the movie took straight out of the book.

    That’s funny… I had that one in my bag to read on a long car trip last week. Didn’t get around to it, though.

    I just started Lord Hornblower, but then my CBD order arrived with Starlighter and Restorer’s Son!  What to do now?!

    I am reading Starlighter.  So far it’s slow which is not something I ever expected of Bryan Davis.  I am also quite happy to discover that there has been no techno babble this whole book.

    Well, I made my decision.   I re-read Restorer, and am now happily part way through Restorer’s Son.  Hornblower and Starlighter will have to wait.

    Curse of the Spider King, finally.

    Starlighter was definitely slower than Bryan Davis’ other books, but I’m expecting the next ones to get faster-paced.

    I just finished The Restorers Son.  I love Sharon Hinck’s characters!  They are awesome!!  Now I am reading Anne Franks diary for school.  Which is extremely boring.

    I read The Wind in the Willows and finished my Hornblower book.  Now I’m reading The Girl with the White Flag.

    Oh, you’re so lucky! I read “Restorer” but the library does not have “The Restorer’s Son”! “Starlighter” was good. I’m reading “Cyndere’s Midnight” by Jeffrey Overstreet.

    I’m going to start Freckles.  I’m debating whether or not to read the introduction.  It’s around seventy pages long and is mostly a biography of the author, Gene Statton Porter.  Is it worth reading that before I start the story or not?  I can’t decide.
