I am sorry about the textbooks, I will never miss that. I can’t fathom how I read 100s of textbook pages every week. I just finished Junky a few days ago & I am getting ready to start Zeitoun by Dave Eggers. Should be awesome.
The later ones in that series are better, especially DragonQuest and DragonKnight. And Donita K. Paul’s other book, The Vanishing Sculptor (which has been retitled but I can’t think of what that title is…) is very good.
Currently rereading Little Lord Fauntleroy, which is a favorite. It’s an “easy read” for Burnett fans… so charming and easy to absorb. Not overly complicated. Just charming.
I just finished The Sable Quean and I really liked it. I didn’t think that it was to similair to his other books. I enjoyed the characters in this one, especially Buckler.
Sooooo… I gave up on The Queen’s Cup. I should have remembered that I don’t really like that book. Now I’m reading Uncle Tom’s Cabin and various modern day books that my sister brought home from the library. (it takes a lot longer to read an older book than a newer one, I’ve found… maybe because there is less depth in the newer one?)
