I’m doing The Myst Reader and various (bleah) textbooks.
I am sorry about the textbooks, I will never miss that. I can’t fathom how I read 100s of textbook pages every week. I just finished Junky a few days ago & I am getting ready to start Zeitoun by Dave Eggers. Should be awesome.
I’m reading Great Expectations, and finally getting back to finishing my schoolbooks.
I’m reading (well, kinda sorta re-reading) Dragonspell. I wasn’t overly happy with it, despite that it seems to be a popular book.
The later ones in that series are better, especially DragonQuest and DragonKnight. And Donita K. Paul’s other book, The Vanishing Sculptor (which has been retitled but I can’t think of what that title is…) is very good.
I had to look it up. It’s Dragons of Chiril.
Personally, I liked DragonKeeper better.
Well, if I ever can get my hands on the other books, I’ll read them.
Currently rereading Little Lord Fauntleroy, which is a favorite. It’s an “easy read” for Burnett fans… so charming and easy to absorb. Not overly complicated. Just charming.
I am reading eldest.
I just finished The Sable Quean and I really liked it. I didn’t think that it was to similair to his other books. I enjoyed the characters in this one, especially Buckler.
reading Crown Duel and Court Duel by Sherwood Smith…..again….
The Sable Quean, and enjoying it too.
I am reading The Queen’s Cup by Henty. I think it’s his most boring book….
Sooooo… I gave up on The Queen’s Cup. I should have remembered that I don’t really like that book.
Now I’m reading Uncle Tom’s Cabin and various modern day books that my sister brought home from the library.
(it takes a lot longer to read an older book than a newer one, I’ve found… maybe because there is less depth in the newer one?)
I’m reading Moby Dick.
