    Alright, as someone recently pointed out this forum has been dead for many months now. So here is where you post your excuses. Where have you been? What have you been doing that has taken all of your time? If you don’t have time to post your excuses at least say hi so we know you still live.

    My excuses are schoolwork and writing. I am a senior in high school, so my workload is pretty big and consumes most of my afternoon. The evenings are usually spent writing or spending time with family. I want to be a writer and have started taking serious steps toward that. I also work and write for my local newspaper. Those are my excuses. Now I want to hear yours.

    Let’s see. Where have I been? Right here. I come here to Incredibooks every time I touch a computer. I just haven’t posted on any of the forums/threads or whatever you call them, because no one else did. (Or they didn’t post, so I just didn’t)

    In any case, I am glad that you posted this, Adalin. I was considering posting somewhere (The Quoting Conversation, Favorite Book, etc.) to start a conversation, but I think that this will do.

    Will stop by later.

    Where have I been you ask? Let’s see……….

    Christmas was crazy I wasn’t even near a computer for a week. Then school started, then I teach a Sunday school class I have to plan for. I did log on but as it looked like nothing had been posted for a couple of weeks I promptly logged off. =P oh! And did I mention I was reading? =D

    Ahhh, we’re all so bad. I logged on everyday, but never posted either. Shame on all of us. We’re letting the forum die and that is a horrifying thought.

    oooooooooookay…. So everybody is sooooooooooo busy! =P But u must have had time to read at least one good book. Me i’ve been busy reading books for school and the only non-school related book I have had time to read is the Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins.

    SOOO DEPRESSING! I swear everybody dies. I know that’s kinda part of the book, but seriously.

    Any suggestions for a good book to read????

    I’d have to agree with Ben, Kyle, and FunshineSheppard. It’s kinda weird when there aren’t any people on the forum… so I just didn’t post anything, plus I didn’t want to post something and have no response. But I’ve also been busy with school, a part time job, family, friends, Awana, clubs, church, etc. I actually haven’t been able to read any books recently, other than school stuff… but I hear lots of people are reading “The Hunger Games” because there’s a movie coming out… Anyways, hope to stop by and chat with you guys later!

    YES!!! Yes, OrdinaryDay! I was going to read the trilogy during the 2012 Read-a-Thon, but then I heard a movie was coming out, so I tried to reserve it before everyone else started (Like Percy Jackson & the Olympians, though I finished the series before the movie was announced), but apparently everyone else heard about the Hunger Games movie before I did, so there’s hundreds of requests for the books in my library.

    I KNOW! It took my library three weeks before I finally got the book. I guess I’ll have to go with my sister to see the movie when it comes out. But I personally think books are always better than the movies, so I will most likely be a downer the whole movie. =)

    Uh, me too. I check incredibooks a lot, but never posted on the discussion forum because nobody else did, I just mostly talked on my PM, so that’s where I was… sorry about that. I guess it’s not totally the best excuse… ~L :wink:

    I guess it’d be okay for me to answer the question again, so… :roll:

    Where have I been? I’ve been munching on yummy soft-baked sugary chocolate chunk (because ‘chunks’ are bigger than ‘chips’) cookies… and watching my favorite crime dramas on TV! Seriously, I thought I’d just post something random. ~Lincy :wink:
