“What did you say?” Cat asked as he spluttered and shook his hair out of his face. He kicked his feet and began to paddle his hands back and forth. His vision cleared, and there was Anne swimming beside him, looking at him strangely.

“I said, ‘Swim, Cat. Kick your feet.’ You look like you were about to sink back under.”

-“Cat” and Anne Ross, Isle of Swords by Wayne Thomas Batson

    (beginning of chapter 15)

(just a quick background on this scene… Elliot is complaining to his wife about the garbage disposal, clears it out, and turns on the grinder) *garbage disposal growls*
    (Dickie runs into room)
Dickie: Mommy, mommy! Have you seen my turtle? I left him in the sink.
(Kathy gives Elliot this “look” as his eyes widen and he looks down the drain.)

-Dickie, Kathy, and Elliot Stabler, Law & Order: SVU season 1

P.S. – no turtles were injured in the making of this scene. ;P

Uh oh! I guess I’d better rescue that book I borrowed from my mom, I left it in the bathroom (and I always end up steaming the whole bathroom). Thanks for the tip!

The only tip I have is don’t eat and read at the same time, you might spill something.
This one time I spilled a drink on a library book… eating and reading, bad combination…
Oh, and when using a recipe from a cook book, you might want to be extra careful, because you have a better chance of spilling something on it.

I’m with Alassiel. I like them, the design is cool, but I don’t think I’d buy them. Sorry!
