    Fairest by Gail Carson Levine 326 pages

    The writing was pretty bad and the characters where shallow but the plot was good and kept me reading. Three stars.

    The Writing Life by Annie Dillard 111 pages

    The book is short and a “one time” read, it was interesting for a first but really pretty dull and no use to anybody. Two stars.

    Surprised By Joy by C. S. Lewis 230 pages

    This one was dull and slow going and I had a very hard time paying attention. I know it’s sacreligious to say something like that about Lewis but I can’t help it. Three stars.
