    Oh boy, I love that!

I haven’t read Castaways yet either, tho’ I may next summer or when I have more time. I actually had it in my hand at one time but never got around to it.

Well, I don’t really know what else to compare it to. I guess you could think of the scariest Redwall, and it might be a bit creepier than that, but not too much more.

What’s the scariest Redwall book in y’all’s opinion?

    Hm. Either Marlfox or Doomwyte.

Free bit for you: Taggerung is the one with the most original story, I think.

I think the part with the chasm near the end of Loamhedge was the creepiest, in my opinion.

Yeah, it probably is, come to think of it.

Hmm…good question. I don’t remember any of them being at all scary, though I read them a long time ago (twelve/thirteenish) and might have forgotten.

There’s just something about the villains being rodents that does not inspire fear. :P

(I know, I know, the foxes–but those weren’t all bad.)

I think Marlfox and maybe Gulo in Rakkety Tam were the scariest.

Gabool was one of my favorite villains, he was rother bloodthirstily fascinating.

Hey, I wonder if Doomwyte has come in from the library yet! Hmm! *goes to check*

Mattimeo was creepy? I didn’t think it was.

Different people consider different things creepy. ;)

One of these days I should reread the Redwall series. I read through it so fast the first time that it probably wouldn’t hurt to read it again. Maybe I’ll save that for this year’s Read-a-Thon.
