Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God and Other Writings by Jonathan Edwards — 314

My first taste of Edwards. I have difficulty reading non-fiction, my mind wanders excessively. :P Despite that I found this to be a very good and satisfactory book.

    The Great Divorce by C. S. Lewis — 133

This didn’t speak to, touch, draw, etc. me… All that stuff about second chances and purgatory was a little bit muddling.

Charming book! I think it might technically be a squeak below my “reading level”, though.

    Yay! My first post! lol

1.) The Spiderwick Chronicles: The Field Guide, 107 pgs.

2.) The Spiderwick Chronicles: The Seeing Stone, 108 pgs.

3.) The Spiderwick Chronicles: Lucinda’s Secret, 108 pgs.

4.) The Spiderwick Chronicles: The Ironwood Tree, 108 pgs.

5.) The Spiderwick Chronicles: The Wrath of Mulgarath, 136 pgs.

    TOTAL: 567 pgs.

    My review of the series:

Honestly, the series isn’t terrific. It is one of the first times I can say the movie is better than the books. I’m not a big fan of magic, faeries, and “fantastical” creatures, so maybe that’s why I didn’t enjoy the books. Also, the books are expensive! Each book is $11, so that’s $55 dollars for the whole series if you buy them individually (but, on Amazon, they have a deal for the box set for $37). But that’s my opinion. If you want to read them, I recommend that you rent them from a library, or see if a friend has them.

Now, I’m off to read another book… I don’t know which one though…
