MemberBill Peet’s books; Peter Spier’s books; James Stevenson’s books; the Flicka, Ricka, Dicka and Snip, Snap, Snurr books…Can’t remember any others. Someday I’m going to sit in the sunroom and add some of them to Goodreads just for the sake of it.
Oh, and I loved Richard Scarry when I was young.
*doesn’t like Are You My Mother?, the Mousekin books, or Anno*

Goodness! I’d pay (have paid) that much to see the Newsboys but I’m not about to pay that much to see/hear a bunch of ametures! Thank goodness licenses and passes don’t cost that much…

MemberLet’s see if I can remember this poem…
“Remember the city, the city remember,
The one that lies under the ground.
The city, the city, always remember
That’s where treasure will be found.” — Jeanne DuPrau

MemberLooks interesting, Jordan.
I’d like to play the guitar. And I want to borrow my sister’s drumkit, if she ever gets it.

MemberTen.
Of course, Jordan, I suppose it is hard to zone if you don’t really want to.
–Go crosseyed so you may view two things at once, (like the computer screen and a book).
–Don’t stare at the sun.

MemberI read The Infastructure Known as the Female Mind according to Relient K today. I found it highly entertaining but my sibling only smirked at best when I read passages aloud… *sigh*
Owan
MemberWhen you’re riding with 2-13 other people, Jordan, you get used to it. Infact, you get really good at zoning out.

(Yes, I have more sibling then all of you. Ha! And I’m quite proud of it even though I have done nothing to help the process…)
Invent a way to read well washing the dishes.
Hide a book in every room of the house.
Ignore the third party presidential debate.

MemberI play the kazoo.
No, I don’t, haven’t touched one in ages.

I can make the standard didgeridoo sound with effort and will sometimes walk around doing so but I’m not really interested in playing it. Leave that to the Australians…
I can play maybe five really simple pieces on the piano but I’m generally lost when faced with anything music related.
My dad says I should get into the musical industry (because he hears me singing to myself) but that’s shameful, biased flattery. I would like to learn to play the guitar though, or rather I’d like to be good at it and skip the learning process altogether because the idea of teachers scares me very much.

MemberDon’t put off till tomorrow what you could read today.
No, nevermind, that’s not what I meant.
Do what you need to do now, procrastination is what eats away at liesurely reading time.
