The Amazing Mystery Show created by Gertrude Chandler Warner 111 pages

And so much more to go!

The “Stargate” books weren’t that great, in fact, I would strongly advise you NOT to read them… foul language among other things.

Healing Sands and Healing Waters were terrific. Incredible and exactly what I needed. I highly recommend them. Probably for Middle School or older.

Boxcar Children are always a safe bet. Simple mystery, but clean.

You know you love books when…
    (sorry if there are repeats!)

You demand that your siblings not drink or eat while reading your books.
Cry when the characters go through difficult times or gets hurt or dies.
Wish you knew guys like that.
    Read almost all the time.
Make up your own stories involving the characters (i.e. fan fiction)

I’ll think of more later and yes, I have done almost all of those.

I have a question… do devotions count? Like if I were reading a devotional book, say Our Daily Bread or something, would that count? We can count the bible too, right?

Star Wars: Coruscant Nights II: Street of Shadows by Michael Reaves (308 pages)

A Simple Christmas by Mike Huckabee (208 pages)
Nice heartwarming stories that emphasize the important things about Christmas. You’ll laugh, cry, and feel like you’re right there with Governor Huckabee.

The Kane Chronicles: The Red Pyramid by Rick Riordan (516 pages)
Not bad… considering the Egyptian gods and such. If you liked PJatO series, you’ll like this one. Much longer than the PJatO books. Probably the same age group.

Dogwood by Chris Fabry (341 pages)

June Bug by Chris Fabry (326 pages)

The C.S.I. Effect by Dr. Katherine Ramsland (large type edition, 460 pages)
Not as interesting as I thought it’d be…

    Running Total: 3,806 pages

Star Wars: Episode III: Revenge of the Sith by Matthew Stover (I listened to the audiobook, but I found the hardcover on Amazon and it has 432 pages)
So, all that plus the 347 pages I’ve already read… I now have:

Um… FunshineSheppard, the first line you have up there was Edmund, not Peter. I think I might actually buy movie tickets if my sibs and I can’t win them from a local radio station like we had for LWW and PC. ; )

I agree with the whole thing about Ed acting kinda like Peter… why do it again? *sigh* The Dawn Treader is stunning. The “signing up for the Army” thing was… interesting. Anyone know what that’s about? Ah, well, wait and see… Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy, you know, that scene where they are all there and it looks like they’re in Narnia? What do you think about that? My brother and sister think it’s a flashback between LLW and HHB. Look here for the trailer:
