It was rather boring until Jane went to Pemberley then it got interesting and really quite nice. Darcy is too sweet.

Oy. I never thought I’d see the day when Chris became a Darcy fangirl.
(Kidding, I know what you mean…I think he could be one of my favourite characters, but there are so many people that like him that I stubbornly refuse.
)The Tempest (220)–Haven’t read much else by Shakespeare, but this was v. good. Can’t wait to see the play.
Can We Be Good Without God? (203)–The author is a philosopher, NOT a writer. If you can get past the cringeworthy writing, good book.
Writing Science Fiction and Fantasy (165)
The Midnight Dancers (215)–Fabulous.
The Scribes from Alexandria (259)–Dull. Mushy. Weird plot. Definitely not the best of the Roman Mysteries.
The Chronicles of Narnia: Wholesome Entertainment or Gateway to Pagansim? (237)–Maybe there are some good arguments buried somewhere in this book, but under all the fallacies and irrelevancy and outright deceit, it’s awfully hard to tell.
Reading Between the Lines: A Christian Guide to Literature (254)–Read this instead!
Of Mice and Men (112)–Twisted worldview. Dreary and depressing. Gratuitous profanity. Stay far away.
Before You Meet Prince Charming (259)–Average. Nothing new. And the pseudo-Old English makes me want to bang my head against something hard.
Story and Structure (538)–I think the BC Ministry of Education is the only one who knows about this book, so… Anyhow, if anyone ever does encounter it, its best story is The Lost Boy, by Thomas Wolfe.
Orphan at My Door (221)–Not a huge fan of Dear Canada, but this is one of the best of the series.
The City of Ember (270)–Lovely as always! When will October be here?
Total so far: 9081 (wow, that number is…worthy of much lachrymosity…)

Darcy has fangirls? Poor man. I guess I don’t keep up with who likes which Austen character best other wise I might have done the same. Then again, my liking Darcy might have been inevitable when so many of the characters where unlikable being either boring or annoying (like Elizabeth) whereas Darcy was nice and interesting and very sweet.
Lachrymosity…nice word. The Shadow of the Bear by Regina Doman 221 pages
Love. This. Book. And I think I got my family interested in too by being weird well I was reading it (and reading various passages aloud).
Atleast, my younger sister is now reading it.

MemberEver, by Gail Carson Levine- 244 pages (Ella Enchanted was excellent, Fairest was okay, and Ever was tolerable. I think it would have been alot better if the author hadn’t gone and written in present tense. And I wasn’t all that fond of the gods and goddesses theme.)
The Sisters Grimm: The Problem Child, by Michael Buckley- 292 pages (Awesome series)
