Here is a great way to some up this book: a waste of time. About a 1/3rd of the way through the book, I was thinking, “Hey, this isn’t to bad…” Well, now, I’m just glad to be done with it! The plot fell apart, I couldn’t follow some of the action scenes, and on top of all of that, there was language… need I say more?Running Total: 596

I think I have, sometime between reading this one and the last one I read, out grown these books. I did not enjoy it as much as I otherwise would, I just kind of raised my eyebrow at it.Heartsease by Peter Dickinson — 221 pages
This book reminded me of the movie The Village and the book The City of Ember. I thought it was well-written and pretty interesting. I did not, however, like the ending. It was kind of disappointing and sad.Living by Fiction by Annie Dillard — 175 pages
My feelings of this book are: it was okay. I mean, maybe it was great but I have a really hard time reading non-fiction. I didn’t enjoy it and had a hard time paying attention to it.Thus Far: 1,511

MemberAnother 50 pages of Star Wars Galaxy of Fear: Eaten Alive. It’s basically a Star Wars horror novel written for children. So yeah, it pretty much stinks. Ha, I have better books to read in teh future.

Okay, this book is up on my absolute favorite shelf. It’s so amazing and just how she writes it, it just pulls you in. I so suggest this book.

This is the first book of the year that wasn’t on my to-read list. I want to keep these kinds of books to a limit.Anyways, I got nervous when I saw Garth Nix on the back cover of this book saying it was really good (I read Garth Nix’s Mister Monday and it was torture). However, when the author compared a girl’s eyes to peeled grapes on the first page I began to feel a little more confident. The verdict: this a one-time book, I liked it for the most part but I don’t think it is worth a second read.
