And if you wanna start a new thread in off-topic for the general mayhem you were creating in the Read-a-Thon results, be my guest. :-)

I’m not a sock person. Instead, I wear slippers. My current pair is a loverly set made by my sister for my birthday. I just love the big kooshy shoe feel.

What’s the matter with cranberries in chocolate, Pip??? They’re absolutely heavenly together! Though not quite as heavenly as toffee. I made some of that last night, and it’s nearly gone.

And I absolutely love fuzzy socks! Actually, from September to April, I live in fuzzy socks, otherwise my feet would freeze.

*is currently wearing slippers* This is the first time in two months that I have both at once…I keep losing one, then finding it and losing the other, then finding that one and then the other is lost. Dreadful.

I’m more of a barefoot-even-in-zero-degrees person, though. ;) The fact that I don’t live in a very cold portion of the world might help.

Cranberries + chocolate = Pip doesn’t know what she’s missing. Poor deprived girl.

Right Chief, you never said a truer word. :P I’ll stick my head in whenever I’m around in the evenings. Which might not be very often, alas alas.

I wear socks when my feet are cold. When they are not cold, I do not wear socks. :P Except, of course, when I have to put on my tennis shoes.

    That’s…nice and logical.

I actually collect socks! I have dozens of pairs now: fuzzy, thick, but mostly standard with all assortment of prints. I don’t much like slippers, never can remember to wear ’em. I do have these gray shoe-slipper thangs that are so warm!

I shall haveta try cranberries in chocolate. Let us never be deprived!

    Lest we actually git ON-TOPIC…*gasps*…

My little sister (I call her Garbonzo Bean or G.B. onmy blog likes Ranch dressing on everything. Corny dogs, pizza rolls, pancakes (I think), millions of other thangs and I think it’s awful!

Cranberries and chocolate… Sounds rather good, actually. Dried cranberries or fresh ones?

Dried cranberry chocolate chip cookies are really good. But I’m getting on-topic!

    Off-topic-wise:

I’ve had this same sticky note on my desk for long enough that I’ve memorized what it says.

And along with that, I have a neat desk toy. It’s two paper clips from a science experiment. I had to bend ’em up, so I left them on my desk, and now I play with them whenever I’m waiting for something to load. :-) *plays with them now while he thinks of something else off-topic*

My library got messed up and fulfilled an inter-library loan request they had already filled. Bother. Now I have to pick it up to return it.

I made dried-cranberry chocolate chip cookies the other day…my siblings did not appreciate the cranberry part, so I now have a new strategy for getting more cookies for myself. HAHAHA.

    …Kidding. Really. ;)

    They taste best when frozen.

I regret to inform you all that your attempts to stay off-topic are fruitless. The title says that the topic is for being off-topic, thus, anything off-topic is really on-topic. It’s an oxymoron, like “a happy Monday” or “rap music”. Alas!

Two of my friends reached fifty thousand words today. *falls over in shock and envy*

Pip, is there some arcane meaning behind those sossajes in your avatar, or is their sole purpose to celebrate the wonder of all that is Random?
