The Spell, by Bill Myers. 153 pages. (Read this cover to cover, non stop in one morning, half sweating from suspense, half wondering when my eyes will fall out from the strain of reading so long. INCREDIBLE! Just remember to not read this at night. One of the freakiest books I’ve read.)

    Running Total: 5,128 pages.

Yeah, I do. Have been since near the end of 2006. I’ve just passed 300 books. Not counting rereads.

Hey pip, after 1,000 books, you must know a couple worth reading :D. What’s, like, your top 10?

    So msfelfbjf…

Say you read an avg. of a minute a page, and you sleep on avg. 8 hours daily…

Thats like, only 5 or 6 hours not reading.

    Incredible.

Keep it up! (;) or maybe not…)

Okay. I wasn’t real eager to read them anyway.

Oh, and about his fans, I think they’re all adults. You know, people with incredibly long attention spans.

Actually, Alassiel, CP is one of the biggest childrens authors today. Just behind J.K. Rowling (blah!), and Lemony Snicket (love his books)!

I didn’t really like Eragon, or hate it. It was creative and the fights were neat, but the characters weren’t deep, I hate magic, and it was poorly written. So I still haven’t read Eldest. Weird, but the critics say Eldest is better!

Anybody think it’s worth reading these way to thick books?

Just about to start Renegade, by Ted Dekker. The first two in this series are some of the best books I’ve ever read. And this one looks way better. If you like creepy plots, creepy bad guys, and incredible suspense that will keep you up till three in the morning, read this series.

    Who’s before him?

I used to be obsessed with Lloyd Alexander, but looking back on the Prydain Chroncicles, they were rather moody in most parts.

If nobody’s read The Second Thief, find it or get or do something to acquire a copy!!!! :)

    My favorite authors list

    #1 Sigmund Brouwer

    #2 Wayne Thomas Batson

    #3 Chris Fabry

    #4 Ted Dekker

    #5 Frank Peretti

    #6 Jerry B. Jenkins

    #7 Lemony Snicket

    #8 Brian Jacques

    #9 Bryan Davis

    #10 John Perrodin

And yeah, the Second Thief was incredible. It’s by Travis Thrasher Alassiel.
