Haha. When I was in Chattanooga at harp camp it was sooo hot, they kept the air conditioner really really cold in the studio. So I’d be sitting there, at 9:00 AM freezing! Fortunately, I’d dealt with this the previous year, so I’d remembered to bring my capes. They saved the day. Because when I stepped outside, where ice turned to steam, I could just let it trail behind me and I didn’t get over heated. :D It was quite a challenge, wearing a cape with my summer cloths though. :)

Congratulations, Amanda! I noticed I’m just a place below you; I’ll have to do something about that next year. :D

Congrats to all the other winners too! Thanks Jordon and co. :D

I’ve watched bitsties and snippets from a lot of them, but I don’t remember any of it because my dad would watch it when I was little and kind of quit after he’d seen them all 10+ times, so by the time I was old enough to enjoy it he didn’t hardly watch it any more. That being said, I have a friend who’s a star trek fanatic and in order to have a conversation with him I started watching it. I watch the original series, since my dad says that’s the best one. I’m eventually going to get to the others. But my favorite character, far and away above another other,  is Spock. :D  I really, really, really like Spock.

I’m about to embark upon this… if my library can ever mange to keep the book on their shelves. It seems to be popular. :D

Oooh, I like this thread. Amanda, I would most definitely swap books for clothes, depending on if I have books that you want. :D I wish I could dress in medieval clothes all the time but I don’t sew so I make do by wearing normal clothes in a medieval style and topping them off with a cloak. (I have two.)

At our library the fines accumulate on your account, not on individual books. So a book that’s lost for months will accumulate fines that you have to pay periodically or they won’t let you check out any more. :(

Red Glass: Laura Resau: 275 pages
This one was good, although a little musy.

Greenwitch: The Dark is Rising Squence: Book Three: Susan Cooper: 221
This series gets stranger and stranger…

There was an Old Woman: Ellery Queen: 343 pages
I love Ellery Queen… (must repeat that at intervals…)

Calamity Town: Ellery Queen: 451 pages
The original ‘wrightsville’ mystery that he refers to so often.

    Um… I hope that’s all and I haven’t missed any.

Revelation Space: Alistair Reynolds: 585 pages
    Really, really, really cool.

Road to Veangance: The Strongbow Sage Book Three: Judson Roberts: 344 pages
If this series is a set up to a conversion it’s going to be the biggest set up the world has ever seen. My brother loves the series but it’s a little bit gory for me…

Dragonspell: Donita K. Paul: 334 pages
    Cool.

House of Brass: Ellery Queen: 288 pages
I love Ellery Queen. I’m going to run the library out of his books soon.
