Hello all!

We have something very exciting to announce to you all.

In the wake of my announcement that Incredibooks would be shortening the Read-a-Thon to just July this year, RoadtoGrinnell (a former participant) proposed a summer reading program to the forum team over at Holy Worlds. Her plan was to host an event based off of the Summer Read-a-Thon we’d been doing here at Incredibooks. When we heard about it, we gave the Holy Worlds teams our blessing, but it didn’t take long for the teams from both forums to wonder why we didn’t just join forces. Which we promptly did. Announcing the Picture Book Palooza

This November, starting tomorrow, Incredibooks is going to do what we’re calling a Picture Book Palooza. What’s a Palooza? Well, it’s a neologism that means, “A big event.”

We’re certainly doing a big event! From November 1st to November 14th, we will be posting 14 picture book reviews, one per day. You’re going to see some of our favorites, some obscure ones you’ve probably never heard of, and a few classics.

Be sure to comment on the reviews of books that you like, and you may want to visit the forum, where some discussion will probably be taking place about favorite picture books. See you there!
