MemberOoh, comment too. Very nice.
I hope to join in. I’m very excited about this year’s contest. It’ll be great!

MemberI’m considering joining, but I don’t know if I can yet, because I’m working all summer long.

Must save money for college!

MemberI’ll join too.
It looks like fun.Though those blasted summer courses will probably get in the way again and my total will be embarrassingly low. Ah well.
Question: The other prizes, are they going to the people who finished second, third, and fourth, or just any random people, deserving or not?

MemberBasically the other prizes will be going to any random participants. So I guess deserving or not.

MemberDude, I so am going to join!
I’ll probably get a really low score, but what ever,
I love the challenge!
:]
How long do the books have to be to be consider “books”?
Cause I did this last year with two friends by ourselves, and we made 90 pages and up “books”

The rules say that any book in or above your approximate reading level can count. So you could read a short story by Mark Twain that’s 5 pages long, and that would be fine. So there’s really no length that a book has to be to count.

MemberI’m joining! So cool, the chance to be able to win Isle of Fire autographed! But beware… I’m a read-o-maniac.

MemberI’ll join! I saw it on Wayne Thomas Batson’s website and freaked. That’s really cool that he put a link there. I have two questions. If I start a book before June 1, and then finish it after, does that count? And does it matter if it’s a book that I’ve already read? I was planning on doing alot of re-reading this summer, and reading the Dragonkeepers books again before Dragonlight comes out.

MemberI’m glad so many people are joining! This’ll be fun.

Alassiel, only books that you’ve started reading on or after June 1st will count. But yes, you are welcome to reread as many books as you’d like. (I’ll be rereading the DragonKeeper chronicles this summer, too!)

MemberJoin? Sure. Why not. Looks like fun. Though, yes, shameless summer work and things of that sort. Ah well. It still looks like fun.
