Sorry that nobody has answered you on this yet. Rebekah is the one who read Westmark, so she’d have to answer you. Unfortunately, her computer is having some problems, but I’m sure she’ll be on sometime soon to answer.

How long do the books have to be to be consider “books”?

Cause I did this last year with two friends by ourselves, and we made 90 pages and up “books”

The rules say that any book in or above your approximate reading level can count. So you could read a short story by Mark Twain that’s 5 pages long, and that would be fine. So there’s really no length that a book has to be to count.

I probably can’t afford to see it again in theaters, but I had a friend who wanted to go with me, so, maybe…

I do plan on seeing it dozens more times on DVD, though. So on NarniaWeb I voted that I’d see it 10+ times, ’cause they didn’t specify in theaters or not. :D

    And I CAN’T WAIT until VDT! yayw00t!

Questions for the General Public: What was your favourite part? Who was your favourite character? Did you cry? Did the other people in the theatre say anything interesting? :P

Me either!!! *yayw00ts with Alyosha* :D

My favorite part? Well, I actually found the battles to be fun, but then again, I’m a guy, so that might somewhat bias me. :P I loved the part when Lucy met Aslan. It was perfect, in my opinion.

Favorite character is harder. They were all pretty good. Okay, how about Reep?! He was very good.

I did not cry, but I did get choked up at the end of the night raid.

The other people in the theater were actually pretty quiet (!!). Except for right after the night raid, two kids slid into my row and started talking LOUDLY while Caspian and Peter were arguing. Ah well, and excuse to see it again, and again, and again. :P

Oh yeah. I’m extremely disappointed that This Is Home was cut down so much to fit the credits. :(

Basically the other prizes will be going to any random participants. So I guess deserving or not.

LoL, this is a great time for you to say that, Lightning, when I just finished posting a lengthy film review that compares to the book quite a bit!

    https://incredibooks.com/2008/05/17/prince-caspian-movie-versus-book/

For those of you asking and who don’t want to read the whole review (it’s kind of spoilery, but I don’t think it’s too bad), Susan does kiss Caspian at the end, but it’s not really all that bad. It feels more impulsively friendly than anything else.

Oh, and I just wanted to throw out that even though I chased every spoiler I could find for a year before the movie, I was still very surprised. It didn’t feel like I’d seen it before at all.

Well, he started out as a very big reader. He actually asked me what to read in the beginning, and then he got tied up in high school work.

Well, I have one friend in particular who I always tell about the books that I have just read. Every time I see him I ask if he’s read all of the books I told him about. The poor guy has a me-imposed reading list of around twenty books that I’m sure he’ll never read!

And I’ve been watching almost all of the spoilers, so you’re in at least a threesome. :D

He wrote a short story for a magazine titled “Ed Takes the Pledge” which inspired the TV series “Mr. Ed”.

Also, he wrote a picture book called Jimmy Takes Vanishing Lessons about a boy who meets a ghost and learns to vanish. It’s pretty funny, if you can read about ghosts that are real.
