MemberFflweddur cracks me up! (Depsite that fact that I can’t spell his name. Or is that right? I don’t know. I copied Pip’s spelling.
)What’s the giant’s name? Gleww or something? He’s in. . . . The Castle of Llyr, I believe. He’s rather. . . weird? Creepy? Slimy comes to mind.

MemberHa! It works! *cheers* Hooray!
I’d put a list of my favorite narrators here, but I can’t remember all their names! It’s been awhile since I’ve listened to any. I need to fix that.

MemberI’m getting ready to start Emily of New Moon. First I have to read through a non-fiction book so I can write an article about it.

MemberLiam Neeson did such a great job! (Off topic, I know.)
Ahem, back on the subject. I particualarly like Flo Gibson narrating The Wind in the Willows. It’s so good!

MemberLloyd Alexander can write such great “first-person” stuff. The Vesper Holly books are my favorite, followed by the Prydain Chronicles. I also like The Iron Ring. Town Cats and Other Tales is a good one.
Rebekah
MemberLoL! Love it!

MemberKidnapped is a good Scottish book.
Oh, and there’s a trilogy. . . I haven’t read it personally. . . the first one is Duncan’s War, I believe. *goes to look* Aha! I was right. The Crown and Covenant trilogy by Douglas Bond. The back of the book says ages 10 to 14, but I don’t know how accurate that is.

MemberI like to listen to audio books while I work on craft projects. My sisters and I have listened to some books so much that we can’t read them without hearing the narrator’s voice.

MemberBy “the third movie” do you mean the first one of Anne of Avonlea? They did depart from the book, but I really like the movie as a movie.
Rebekah
MemberHave you read Bambi’s Children? I didn’t like it as much as Bambi.
I kept a list of the new books I read, but it kind of fell beside the way when I started to run out of good stuff to read.
Rebekah
MemberHave you tried Ogden Nash? He’s so funny!
Rebekah
MemberPoetry! I like poetry. (Although I don’t read it nearly as often as I should.) I like Poe’s “Eldorado” and . . . oh, I can’t remember who wrote it. . . “Song of Sherwood”, and lots of others.
