    LoL, looking back on my comments about Journey… I actually caught it on DVD and rather enjoyed it.

    @narnia365,

    Eager’s books have the same type of magic as Nesbit. As I mentioned before, Eager tried to imitate Nesbit’s style. His books are a lot of fun for Nesbit fans because he continually makes sneaky references to Nesbit’s books, including having his characters read Nesbit and wish for adventures like Nesbit’s books. Great stuff. Think Nesbit in the mid-1900s.

    @Alyosha,

    The math line was a joke… I’m actually strong in math. I may have allowed it, but since I’d already said no to the same question, I figured I’d be consistent.

    I felt like the story had potential, but the author kept trying to talk to the reader, which she was really bad at, I thought. Haven’t seen the movie yet.

    Hey narnia365, have you heard of Edward Eager? He was an author who tried to imitate Nesbit’s style, and did so quite well, in my opinion.

    I could, I suppose. Though I just answered a question along the same lines in the negative, so I guess not. Too much math involved, anyway. :D

    Previously, we’ve stuck with only books started on or after June 1st. So it would be the next book you start.

    Enoch’s Ghost, and I (silly me) forgot all about the Read-a-Thon and have most of it to go before I can read anything toward a page count. *OOPS!*

    Go! The Read-a-Thon is on!

    By the way, if you’re seeing this and you haven’t registered yet, don’t worry. You have until June 7th to sign up. That’s not a lot of time, so you probably should go now!

    LoL, not me! (I know, I have to unlock the thread!) You can start reading at midnight, but the thread probably won’t be open ’til about 6:00 AM Central. (Must sleep!)

    Yes, you may read a book more than once.

    By the way, there is a Read-a-Thon questions thread here: https://incredibooks.com/ibdiscuss/topic/read-a-thon-enthusiasm

    Ah, okay. It’s strange to find somebody who’s heard of the sequel who hasn’t played it…

    The authors contacted Incredibooks awhile back and asked if we wanted a review copy, but when we said yes we never heard back. Guess we’ll have to see if we can get ahold of a copy.

    (You’re not a Myst fan, are you? :lol: )

    As I said before, I’m okay with y’all calling it an RAT. But I will continue to write it out and be official. :)
