MemberAdalin, I felt almost the same way. I actually like him better in Inkspell, since he
seems more like a good guy, and in fact, has been questioning himself about his cowardice and evil deeds in Inkheart. Jordan
MemberIt’s going to be Kyle’s birthday.
And we always sang it:
Happy birthday to you!
You live in the zoo.
You look like a monkey,
And you smell like one too!

Or as a lady at our church sings:
Happy birthday to you.
You belong in a zoo.
With the lions and tigers,
And the monkeys like you!

MemberI’ve been through Inkheart now, and I thought it was pretty good, actually. I’m reading Inkspell and I’m enjoying it. Unless it takes a drastic turn for the worse in the last sixth of the book, I’m going to rank it below Inkheart, but still pretty good.

Jordan
MemberOho, I just read your post again, Pip. Do you truly juggle? If so, we can juggle together for entertainment for the birthday.
Jordan
MemberA lot faster for those organizing it!
Jordan
MemberPip, you may commence getting after my mom for making them.
Jordan
MemberNah, he just writes faster than all them folks doing NaNo…

MemberHere’s a good thread on NarniaWeb discussing the DVD, courtesy of some lucky Narnia fans from overseas, where Prince Caspian is already out on DVD.
Specifically see this post, where the deleted scenes are discussed! I almost cheered when I read that there’s only one S+C scene in the whole thing! From the descriptions, I wish some of these scenes would have been in the final film, but oh well. Too bad there doesn’t seem to be an extended cut in the works. I’d take it if all the deleted scenes were put back in. Stuff from the book is worth one S+C scene!

MemberOh yeah, and if you plan on using it, you may want to figure out how it works in this thread. After all, you wouldn’t want to mess it up and have somebody read a spoiler inadvertently.

MemberSarah, hold down your shift key and reload the page. Anybody on Windows, try hitting F5.

MemberHey, there’s been a lot of news since the last post. Bryan Davis has posted an update on his blog about the word count for Bones of Makaidos. He says that he’s over 83,000 words in, that Bones will probably be broken into two parts (as with Eye of the Oracle), and that he’s expecting part 1 to be 90,000 words with no idea if part 2 will be shorter, longer, or the same length. For a fan like me, that makes my heart leap!
BTW, Alyosha, regarding the last spoiler, no, he didn’t do it in book three.

Jordan
MemberDon’t worry everybody! Sarah and Kyle and Alassiel may have eaten the cake and pie, but I brought cupcakes and cookies!
Jordan
