MemberI don’t know of any plans, but there may be things I don’t know. I know he has one other book out, The World According to Narnia, which I haven’t read but looks sorta interesting.

MemberNow I might actually finish King Solomon’s Mines, since I’ve finished The Secret Of the Swamp King and The Winged Watchman. Ah, it feels wonderful to sit and read for hours again. I haven’t done that in a long time.

MemberI gave book two to my sis for Christmas, and just finished reading it meself now. It was pretty good. The feechies are so funny! Some of the things they come up with are absolutely ridiculous. I love the strange words they make up, like ‘confabulate.’

MemberI’ve been reading all day, so I read The Crystal Snowstorm and Beorn the Proud. Now I’ll go back to King Solomon’s Mines, which I started over the weekend.

MemberI didn’t know there were that many hippos. Are they all stuffed?

MemberOur kittens are getting so big and cute! On Christmas, after we finished opening presents, we brought all five kittens into the family room. We had so much fun dangling ribbons over their heads and watching them pounce on balls of wrapping paper. It’s amazing how fast those little balls of fur can move.

MemberSo… How was your Christmas? What awesome presents did y’all get? What awesome presents did you give?
I had an absolutely delightful Christmas. I love my family! They are the most awesome family in the world. (Though some of you might debate that!) On Christmas Eve, we went to our church’s late night service, then afterwards went to see this nativity creche thing. In the car, we had so much fun singing every Christmas song we could think of. Daddy was overtired, and when he gets overtired, he gets hilariously goofy, so he was singing with us and making us all die laughing. You must remember that our family is not musical, so none of our singing sounded at all pretty, we just had fun.

I almost forgot to open my own presents on Christmas morning, I was having so fun watching everyone else open theirs. I got two beautiful sweaters, a pair of clay earrings, and seven bookmarks, not to mention assorted other things. I collect bookmarks, so I always tell my sibs to make me bookmarks for holidays.
I gave two of my brothers each a story I had written about themselves, bound into a little book, with space for them to illustrate. The younger one got a crazy adventure story, in which he rides tigers, beats up an army of wildcats, and generally ignores logic and reason. For the older boy, I gave the story a little more substance, and he generally used brains more than brawn. Ah, I had so much fun writing those stories.
Wow, that was sorta a long post, so I’ll shut up now and let someone else tell about their holiday.

MemberI saw that story on NarniaWeb, but our computer is acting up so I can’t read it. Did they give a reason for Disney dropping Narnia?

MemberA villainess? Ooh, good, I love bad gals. And a warrior mole sounds interesting.

MemberI liked the first one, and I read a couple of the sequels, though I don’t remember which ones. I seem to recall liking them pretty well too.

MemberI agree, Pip, most of the costumes at the end are hideous!!! Caspian’s in particular. 8O

MemberYes, since he was around to write the book. However, he did have to have a leg amputated.

MemberThirty Seconds Over Tokyo, written by a guy who flew in the Doolittle raid in WW2, then crashed landed in China.

MemberIt seemed pretty good for his first book. I wasn’t really super impressed, but I guess I don’t have any complaints either.
