I LOVE all the books, but my absolute favorites are The Horse and His Boy and The Magician’s Nephew. (I used to like The Voyage of the Dawn Treader the most, but then I began to realize that the other books were really good too… lol.) Probably my least favorites are Prince Caspian and The Silver Chair. But, don’t get me wrong, I love them all! :D

REVIEW: These books are amazing, epic, and just flat-out awesome. I was able to finish the whole series in less than a month, which is seriously a miracle for me. So, I definitely recommend reading them.

The Great Wide Sea, by M. H. Herlong – 288 pages  Review – “Just two months after the death of his mother in a car accident, his dad, crushed by the loss of his wife, sells their house and small boat

and uses the money to buy the Chrysalis, a 30-foot sailboat. He

uproots Ben and two younger sons for a yearlong tour of the Bahamas.

Life goes as smoothly as it can for a while, despite the tension,

chores, and close quarters. But one morning everything changes—their

father disappears.” Overall, this book is pretty good, but I don’t think I would “re-read” it. Definetely interesting though… all-and-all, it’s a lot like Swiss Family Robinson in “style” and in “feel”.

Icecore, by Matt Whyman – 307 pages
Here is a great way to some up this book: a waste of time. About a 1/3rd of the way through the book, I was thinking, “Hey, this isn’t to bad…” Well, now, I’m just glad to be done with it! The plot fell apart, I couldn’t follow some of the action scenes, and on top of all of that, there was language… need I say more?

The Maze Runner, by James Dashner – 289 pages (I was on page 85 as of June 1st, and the book has a total of 374 pages. So, 374 – 85= 289 pages. That OK?)

REVIEW of The Maze Runner: This book was seriously awesome! I almost NEVER finish books quickly, but this was an exception. The plot was great, and I didn’t-want-to/couldn’t put it down. Seriously. This book is kind-of a mix between The Lord of the Flies and The Hunger Games. So, yeah, I would recommend it. But, a warning: there isn’t “language” in this book, but at the same time, there is. The author made up fake cuss words to replace (I’m assuming) real cuss words. So, just a warning… good luck to everyone!

Hey Jordan, I got a quick question:

I got a Kindle (I’m so pumped!), but since there aren’t actual “pages” on it, do we just go onto Amazon and use the number of pages it says is in the book for our score? (I’m sorry, that’s probably worded funny, but I couldn’t think of another way to ask it…)

    Thanks!

House of Dark Shadows (which, btw, is AMAZING!!!)

Wow, that was really unexpected! I never randomly win things… lol, yay!

Well, first, congrats to Legossi, Adalin, and C Triebold. You guys worked hard to win, so good job! : ) Second, if it’s still available, I would like a signed copy of Beyond the Reflections Edge, if it’s still available. And, third, thanks Incredibooks team!!! I had a blast!

Just saw that books of the Bible count:

Numbers1st Kings; totaling 379 pgs. (Review: Duh, it’s the Bible, so read it! lol. I try to read my Bible everyday, and it’s just… awesome. I love waking up, knowing that God is ready to talk to me, and listen. The Old Testament is different, but I love reading it. It would be so awesome that in heaven, if there was a “Blockbuster”, and we could rent “movies” of all the stories in the Bible. I would definitely see Noah’s Ark and David and Goliath first. Epic! lol! It’s like, Woah, dude, this animation is amazing. Oh wait, it’s real!!! lol)

    TOTAL: 6,346 pgs.

Quantum Prophecy: The Awakening, by Michael Carroll: 264 pgs. (review: really good/amazing book, BUT, there is language!!! I was very disappointed about that. At least 1 bad word every chapter, and if there is an action scene, a guaranteed 3. I usually try to avoid books with language. If you do too, then skipping out on reading this book is a good idea.)

The Last Thing I Remember, by Andrew Klavan: 336 pgs. (review: AWESOME!!! Have you ever heard of the “Bourne” series? It’s basically that, but better. No language, and it’s Christian. Definitely a must read.)

If You’re Reading This, It’s Too Late, by Pseudonymous Bosch: 373 pgs.

Review: Reminds me of A Series of Unfortunate Events, but slightly corny. This book has a really strange plot, so it is more meant for people who have a… strong imagination. The book is good, but I have read better. 3-4 stars.

100 Cupboards, by N. D. Wilson: 289 pgs. (It was good. Kind of strange at some parts, but still good. Thank you C Triebold for suggesting!)

Simon Bloom: The Octopus Effect, by Michael Reisman: 353 pgs. (Read it, read it, read it!!! The first book is called Simon Bloom: The Gravity Keeper and it is just… AMAZING!!! Seriously, read it!)
