Our library is a very small one room deal. They want to and have talked about adding on, but who knows when that’ll gappen.

Shine: Make ‘Em Wonder What You’ve Got by Newsboys 309 pages

Maybe I’m biased but I thought this was a really good book. It gave me a fresh or deeper look at some of these guys’ songs (like Lost the Sky Again), the story about Peter and the drunk couple really went home, perhaps I laughed over Phil’s sidewalk story because it was so very quirky and Phil-ish, I read the envy section of the book just as I was envying my siblings over something petty, and came across the quote of Lord (I Don’t Know) just as I was listening to it. The book definitely is something to meditate on. I found it interesting how alot of what the ‘boys wrote connected with the songs of GO — written/recorded four or five years later. It’s nice to know their way of thinking isn’t jelly-ish. …Etc, etc, etc…

Raoul needs a life. Christine needs mental assistance and a life. Erik seriously needs to grow up and get a life. Such a fun book…

The Thief Lord by Cordelia Funke 345 pages

Better then Inkheart I dare say. It was very interesting, not amazing nor a favorite but interesting.

The Wish by Gail Carson Levine 179 pages

Ugh. Teenybopper all the way. Middle School, boyfriends, popularity, etc. with a little bit of fairypower (ya know?) thrown in — and kissing lessons! Icky.

*dies* Oy. I never thought I’d see the day when Chris became a Darcy fangirl. (Kidding, I know what you mean…I think he could be one of my favourite characters, but there are so many people that like him that I stubbornly refuse. ;) )

Darcy has fangirls? Poor man. I guess I don’t keep up with who likes which Austen character best other wise I might have done the same. Then again, my liking Darcy might have been inevitable when so many of the characters where unlikable being either boring or annoying (like Elizabeth) whereas Darcy was nice and interesting and very sweet. :P Lachrymosity…nice word.

The Shadow of the Bear by Regina Doman 221 pages

Love. This. Book. And I think I got my family interested in too by being weird well I was reading it (and reading various passages aloud). ;) Atleast, my younger sister is now reading it. ;)

It was rather boring until Jane went to Pemberley then it got interesting and really quite nice. Darcy is too sweet.

Very good. That is, if you can get around the moments of unpleasantness and the excessive language it’s very good.

Alright I guess… Family Sabbatical is better.
