In a series of increasingly more difficult tongue twisters, a Fox tries to find something that Mr. Knox can say.
If you can’t say “Fox in socks on Knox in box” ten times fast, your tongue may need lubrication. What better way than to read straight through Seuss’ book without one mistake? Take courage, though. The book ends with a (relatively) easy section on Tweedle Beetles.

The fantastic adventures with Mary Poppins continues in this book with a story of the Swineherd and the Goosegirl, reuniting a hunter and his lion friend, dancing with shadows, a visit to a planet with talking cats, and much more.
The sweet and amiable Mary Poppins portrayed in the movie is very different from the strict and stern Mary Poppins in the book, but the books have many more adventures, and Michael and Jane are never sure whether they really happened or not. Mary Poppins never explains, of course.

Sylvie is “the oldest child,” Joey is “the oldest son,” Rufus is “the baby in the family,” but Jane is just Jane. So, Jane decides to become the middle Moffat.
This book is kind of hard to write a summary for. A lot of things happen in The Middle Moffat. This is the second book in the series about the Moffats. A pretty good book, in my opinion.

Mr. Elihu Margarine and his family have just moved to the Beans’ neighborhood. Mr. Margarine likes to hunt foxes and he rides over everyone’s property, not caring what gets destroyed. And on top of that, a rattlesnake is threatening the lives of several animals. Freddy is determined to stop both menaces, but it’s not an easy task.
Like most of the Freddy series, this is a very funny book. Freddy’s Comanche Kid disguise adds to the humor. I very much recommend that you read this book. Enjoy!

Dorothy lives on a gray prairie in Kansas. When a cyclone hits, she and her little dog, Toto, are whirled into the air and eventually come down in the Land of Oz, where the good Witch of the North advises Dorothy to go the City of Emeralds and ask the great Wizard, Oz, to send her home again. On the dangerous journey there, Dorothy is joined by the Scarecrow, the Tin Woodman, and the Cowardly Lion.
I like this book a lot. The Wizard of Oz was made into a movie starring Judy Garland. It’s not very close to the book, but it’s still pretty good. It was nice going back and reading this book again.
