Lloyd Alexander

An author that we have enjoyed is Lloyd Alexander. He writes great books of fantasy and adventure. The following books are the ones of his that we have read. His Chronicles of Prydain are very good, and among our favorites.

We must mention that Disney made an animated version of The Black Cauldron, which is a highly changed version of The Book of Three and The Black Cauldron put together into one movie. None of us have seen it, but from the description on Amazon, it seems to be pretty far from the book.

Lloyd Alexander has also written the Vesper Holly series, which is about a teenage girl who has adventures in different countries around the world.
