Nope, I’ve never gotten carsick. I’ve even entertained the idea of eating while reading in the car, but when I thought that, it was a library book, so I didn’t care to chance it. :)

Really, I can’t zone out when everything being discussed is interesting or possibly important to the schedule of the day… But I get what you’re saying.

I was not taught to play any instrument that I play. All of my knowledge comes from either experimentation, reading a book, or reading articles online. There’s a lot to be said for skipping the teacher!

Hammered dulcimer is awesome to play. I’m just getting started with chord patterns, which means I can play almost anything I want to. Lots of fun!

Paddington Here and Now, and there’s also going to be a movie in 2010 that is based on the books as a whole. :?

I read in the car on long car trips, but not on things like trips to the store, etc. Besides, having five other people in the car makes it difficult to read through all the talking going on.

It’s for Paddington’s fiftieth anniversary celebration. Pretty nice that Michael Bond was still around to write it, instead of somebody else!

Nope, hadn’t seen that. I had seen PluggedIn’s, but they obviously didn’t read the book first.

Really, I like and dislike Christian movie reviewers. I like them because they’ll always tell you what inappropriate in the film. But I really dislike it when they get nitpicky about bad guys calling names or laughing at the good guys. Come on! That’s what bad guys do! /rant
