My family watched about five different versions of it over one Christmas, and we discovered that the recent Patrick Stuart version cannot be beat for great acting and sticking the book like glue. Although the Muppets are a lot of fun, too. :)

Yes! All four previous books have ended abruptly. Like, in the middle of a scene, when you most desperately would like to find out what’s next!! It’s maddening!!

Neither does mine! *joins Pip in apalled silence*

And, yes, Alyosha, All My Holy Mountain is the last book in the series. It’ll be interesting to see if Graham can end the series without being abrupt. :)

I’ve read A Christmas Carol, and I’ve had David Copperfield, The Cricket on the Hearth and Oliver Twist read to me. Very good books.

I’m currently about halfway through Apologia’s Physics book. Love it!

Just remember, that particular bit is kind of pointless (not totally) and they will probably show a quick glimpse of it, then move on to the more important things that happen afterward. *ducks*

Oh, I always considered that DragonSpell was the worst of the series. My favorite is a toss up between DragonQuest and DragonKnight. But I haven’t read DragonLight yet, so I may have my favorites ousted pretty soon. :D

Just don’t forget to close the tags by hitting the button again when you’re done with that style. Also, I’m under the impression that the “Code” button doesn’t work. But I figure that’s okay, ’cause none of us are talking about computer programming. (as far as I know)

I heard about the movie of The Dark Is Rising and I heard that it was way off from the book. How’s the book?

Man, if anyone ever writes a series, make sure to get the reader hooked on the first book, fer Pete’s sake!

You have to understand, the author said that the story of Beyond the Summerland is necessary to understand the rest of the books.

It goes to their PM box on the forum. It’s safe, don’t worry.

Here’s the big hill to get over, Pip. Beyond the Summerland is the hardest one to finish, and then once you finish it, it gets more difficult to start the second one. But then you get hooked. :)
