Haha, the NW Books thread strikes another victim!

Anyhow, yes, I’ve read the book and it’s really good. The sequels aren’t nearly as interesting or original, but they’re worth reading if only to find out Ember’s back-story.

The fourth one comes out…oh when is it…soonish, though.

LoL, yes, I have been lurking there. :-P

I’ll have to check it out, then. Yay! New book! :-D

    Haven’t read it, but…

I’m reading Bryan Davis’ Enoch’s Ghost. Halfway through, it’s pretty good, and sort of creepy.

Well, what are you looking for? Fantasy? Mystery? Something totally different? There’s always re-reading something that you’ve already read.

Don’t forget, Incredibooks has reviews of books, too. Check around the review section of the site, there are 400+, you ought to be able to find something.

1.) My church is have a summer reading thingy, and we are reading all the minor prophets. Can I count the pages in the book of Joel, Hosea, and the others?

2.) I have a science book I’ve doing this semester, and still have a lot left to go. I’ve been keeping track of what I’ve read on which days. When I finish it, could I count the pages I read from June 1st onward, or does it not count at all!?!

Yes, of course, anything you read in your Bible counts! :-)

As for the science book, I’ll need to discuss it with the rest of the organizers. We’ll get back to you on that.

Attention everybody! There has been an addition to the rules:

Books below your reading level do count if read aloud to others. So if you read a picture book to a younger sibling, you can count those pages!

I’m up now and opening the thread. No starting at midnight, this is actually controlled by a sleepy human. LoL!

For you fanatics (:D) out there, you can count anything that you started reading from midnight onward.

It’s HTML, but I had to use BBCode to get it to show up here.

I’m getting excited! You can go to Amazon and read an excerpt of the first chapter, but it stops in the middle of a word, so be warned. Scroll down.
