Member^Ditto. Actually I did have the chance but was lazy.
Congratulations, everyone!

Member“Madding?” Seriously? That is so disappointing.
Psmith, Journalist by P.G. Wodehouse
Seven Ages of Paris by Alistair Somebody
Defending Your Faith by R.C. Sproul
still The Idiot by Dostoevsky

MemberYep. I thought the same.
I know that she says she’s a Christian, but I would never have guessed it from that particular book. Maybe you’re supposed to take what Jess’ dad says with a grain of salt, but the target audience isn’t going to know enough to do that. I sure didn’t!

MemberHa, I’ve read a bunch but have fallen so far behind in documenting it all that I don’t think I’ll even try. Same as last year except worse. Bad me.
But applause and cookies to everyone trekking onward!
Quote:Bridge to Terabitha by a Katherine Paterson. 128 pages.Sad for reasons I don’t think the author intended.
Really? Expound. I read it forever ago and mostly remember being annoyed with her theology.

MemberWhat do you like about it, Alassiel? That’s one of my favourite books.
Psmith in the City by P.G. Wodehouse, and The Hidden Gifts of the Introverted Child by Marti Olsen Laney, or Marti Laney Olsen, or something of the sort.

MemberAaah! Don't ask such questions!
I sure hope so, or else my already-pitiful page count would be cut in half…haha.

MemberDone! And I wish I could remember if I signed the other two, too…I'm pretty sure I did both, but can't quite recall.
Filming starts tomorrow! Woohoo! (Or is it today, when the time zones are sorted out?)
Alyosha
MemberHorrifically.
Wait, you read Douglas Bond? Coolness. I have Rebel's Keep sitting on my shelf and need to read it soon. (But haven't gotten ahold of the other two books yet…does it matter terribly if you read them out of order?)
Alyosha
MemberThe Idiot by Dostoevsky.
And I finally finished Pride and Prejudice. After–er–two years, three years? Go me. *is a disgrace to the world of literature*
Alyosha
MemberWe forgot Owan and now it's late. Disgraceful. However, a very happy un-birthday to you (and Wyatt), hope your real birthdays were smashing

MemberForeverFan! Wherever did you come from? *gapes* Hi.
I Am David is brilliant. I love it. Planning on rereading it this summer. The movie is not bad either. Glad you liked it!
*applauds for everyone’s soaring numbers but has nothing to post* My page-count is currently choked into unconsciousness under the weight of finals.

MemberI didn’t cry, thanks to annoying book reviews that didn’t seem to care about SPOILING THE WHOLE ENDING
Eh, let’s see. Wouldn’t it be nice if textbooks and the Reader’s Digest counted.

MemberNot really. It’s fairy-tale-ish, not sword-and-sorcery. Edward Eager adored Nesbit’s books and his are very similar.

I could, I suppose. Though I just answered a question along the same lines in the negative, so I guess not. Too much math involved, anyway.
*is baffled*
What, so none of us are allowed to? Even if we don’t mind the math?

Member*cannot fathom reading the same book three times in one day*
200 is incomprehensible. Don’t you die of boredom?
