MemberOh my goodness gracious, this old thread is still a-goin’! How is everyone out there? *shields eyes to see*
Pip
MemberI wasn’t sure where to put this little shout-out, but I figured since it’s the most frequented thread, I’ll slip this in. Waterbrook-Multnomah has this program up where you sign up to review new publishes on your personal blog. There is no requirement beyond your owning a blog. They send you free books that you can keep! I thought it was a pretty sweet deal:
http://www.waterbrookmultnomah.com/bloggingforbooks/
You can read more information there.
I’ve already signed up and will be posting my reviews at:
http://freshpressbookreviews.wordpress.com/
Thought the notion of free books might appeal to some of you.

MemberI got mine today; looks great!
Pip
MemberI hope so, too.
I’ll probably pop in and out during the year to root people on and terrorize you all with geeky “booklarning”.

Member*confetti over everyone* YAYNESS! Everyone did such a great job! Hats off to Jordan, Ruth and Rebekah for their amazing work in keeping the technicalities and logistics simple and straightforward.
You can’t imagine how tickled I am to have won; this is my last RAT because next year, I’ll be going to college in the autumn, and the summer is going to be sucked up with preparation for that. We’ve already ordered a T-shirt a few days ago *heehee* so I would like “The Swords of the Six” by Scott Appleton.
Huzzah for everybody’s great work!Pip
