MemberOooookaaaaay! The Eagle of the Ninth is moving along faster. (Wild cheering.)
Pip
MemberThe Hound of the Baskervilles was actually very good, but NEVER watch the movie! I couldn’t sleep for several nights…
Ivanhoe, huh? I’m eyeing that one warily, watching the dust collect. Silas Marner is a good book…if you wish to fall asleep very quickly. Listen to the Focus on the Family dramatization instead! Much better.
Yup, ‘children’s’ classics count. Winnie the Pooh is so cute! It gets funnier as you get older.

MemberYeah, The Last Battle was a tear-jerker; I only read the first 50 or so pages of Les Miserables, but was apalled at the tragic movie adaptation.
Pip
MemberGood grief, I HATE those books that are a spin-off of an original book, written by a different and usually inferior author.
*steps off of soap-box*
Pip
MemberOoh, that was good! The fact that Johnny Depp plays Willy Wonka is odd in and of itself, but that was about the only weird thing about that newer version. The book is fresh and entertaining, as well.
Pip
MemberThe Spirit is Willing (Baker), 135 pages. One of the worst books I’ve ever read!!! Don’t bother.
Running Total: 3,467 pages
Pip
MemberOh. Welllll, let us wait with clasped hands and eyes lifted skyward. (Poetical me!) Tim Burton rings a faint bell…did he direct or help to direct something else?
Pip
MemberHow in the world did Vampire Girl remind you of your need to read Huckleberry Finn??!!!
(By the way, I clicked on the link to your blog, loved it!)
Pip
MemberOkay, thankee!
Pip
MemberI actually made that Careful… T-shirt, with a little permanent gel detailer. Centering it it hard, tho…
It believe there’s a game called Authors, isn’t there? A card game?
Pip
MemberOh, okeyday. So you get the same quote on every post?
Pip
MemberHow do I get the little quotes at the bottom of my posts?
Pip
MemberOff-topic, since I’m reading it for school next year (growls of impatience) : Alyosha, I totally agree! I loathe, despise and abominate abridged books!!! P’raps we should begin a cyberized protest rally: Down with abridged books and back-cover spoilers!
Pip
MemberEw, sounds morbid! Who’s the author?
Pip
MemberI’ve seen some of Ted Dekker’s stuff, they look scary! John White’s Archives of Anthropos are Narnia copycats, but they are suprisingly engaging. I’ve only read the first one, The Sword Bearer, and really liked it.
