Don’t remind me about novel-writing!!! I’m trying to reach 30K by the end of the month in one of mine and failing miserably!!!
Pip

I made garlic cheese biscuits the other day…*floats out the door*

Pip
MemberHERE THEY ARE!!! *comes riding in on a unicycle, strings of balloons flagging out behind her*
Pip
Member*laughs* You’re welcome.
I have decided to reread a bunch of my favourite books this summer; I believe the fifth Kingdom book should be one of those glorious rereads.
Pip
MemberI read the first four Kingdom books and thought them a tad amateur, as though the author was flexing his writing muscles, but in the fifth book he just exploded and made me love it.
Pip
Member……..oh dear, Those People, who made Eragon??? *didn’t like the movie nearly as much as the book, and is being very meek and quiet here…* Let’s hope Mr. Gresham can whip ’em into shape. Personally I’m eager to see how someone other than Disney will handle a Narnia movie.

MemberDarn, I was absent for Aly’s birthday!!!!! My bad. I had to reset mah soupy password for the billionth time. Here: *throws cream puffs and root beer at Alyosha and gives her a bunch of Chesterton novels*
OK, who’s next?!
Pip
MemberIf I tried playing Spoons with a bunch of people I actually KNEW instead of random strangers, they’d all have their heads knocked off. *is funny that way*
Clapping games are always fun, but I have never learned any. *is hacked off*
Pip
MemberI’m reading “Skin” by Ted DeKker and “House” by him and Peretti. And “Piercing the Darkness” by Peretti. Yup, I’ve developed an appreciation for thrillers. >

I’m also reading “Till we Have Faces” and Dad’s reading a most glorious Paddington book for evenings. I ALSO started “The Universe Next Door” by James Sire for school, and though we only have read one chapter thus far, I LOVE it, it will blow you away. I think for the RAT I’m just going to have a loverly summer rereading things. *shocked gasps* Yes, dear Peoples, I DO reread some things. But I was prowling around the library the other evening and realized how nice it would be to tote a bunch of once-read novels home for the summer. So I think I’ll do that.
Pip
MemberMonster cookies: make regular chocolate cookies, but scoop ’em big and take them right out of the oven when the recipe says to, don’t leave ’em in if they look underdone or something.

Pip
MemberOh yeah, I actually have a friend who inhabits a alternate existence called Virtual Reality with me, it’s quite convenient. Watch: *slaps herself* See? Didn’t feel a thing. Easy’s pie.
*enjoys Aly’s post very much* And yes, though it is sad, I started looking TOO much like Poe and got complaints. Not to mention that picture where really did look like a villain in a drama…neverMIND!
Anyone seen “Miss Potter”? The Girls and I watched it this afternoon and I really enjoyed it, even though is was bittersweet.
I finally plucked up my courage to fiddle around with my MP3…lemme tell y’all, it rockeths. Day Two and I have over 100 songs on there. And that’s just copied and loaded from CDs, I’ve no idea what else one can do with these…
Pip
Member“The Moonspinners”; some good I’d got on a whim through Paperbackswap, it’s alright. And “Piercing the Darkness” by Frank Peretti. I really liked the first book, this is it’s sequel, and sofar I’m liking this one.
