MemberWhoa! RoadToGrinnell, sorry it’s taken me so long to notice this. You must have gotten caught in our spam filter for some reason. I’ve rescued you (only six days late, right?).
To answer your question… We’ve generally gone by only books started on or after June 1st count. Mostly because we didn’t think anybody would keep track that of how many they’d read before the Read-a-Thon started. But if you know how many pages you read before June 1st and you can subtract those accurately from the book’s total, go for it.

MemberAwww. We’ll miss you, Alyosha!
Jordan
MemberBut summer is when the Read-a-Thon is! And that starts in five days!

MemberCurse of the Spider King, finally.
Starlighter was definitely slower than Bryan Davis’ other books, but I’m expecting the next ones to get faster-paced.Jordan
MemberPip, sorry about not getting a confirmation to you earlier. I send those out and I was on vacation for the weekend. *oops* Should be there now.
Jordan
MemberThat’s funny… I had that one in my bag to read on a long car trip last week. Didn’t get around to it, though.
I’m reading Starlighter.Jordan
MemberThanks for the feedback, everybody. I’ve tested it and I get the same results. Not sure what’s causing that… I’ve added a note to that effect on the page, though, until I have time to look into it further.

MemberLoL, Ben said that when we shot it.
By the way, has everybody been getting confirmation of registration? We’ve had a couple people sign up again after we confirmed it.Jordan
MemberSo what does everybody think of the video on the Read-a-Thon home? We were going for a bit more epic this year.
Jordan
MemberRegistration is open and the video is up! Check out the Read-a-Thon site for all the details.

MemberMy book ended up being Swallowdale. I’m about a third of the way done and I’ll probably read some more of it on the way home.
Jordan
MemberI’m reading whichever of the four books I packed to read on the road I decide to read when the time comes.

Jordan
MemberWell, if you really want to read through a thread of everybody discussing all the gory parts of DIOM, here’s where you should go to see Bryan Davis and Darren Thomas both agree that the movie will likely be PG-13. http://www.facebook.com/topic.php?uid=59071822103&topic=8307
Oh yeah, and there are lots of spoilers in that thread about who all gets hurt/killed in the books. So tread carefully if you have either a weak stomach or haven’t read the books yet. -
