    I’ve read the first one, and I like it. It’s sorta different from other fantasy, and I love the American frontier feeling he gives it. It makes me feel right at home. :-) The parts with the feechie-folk are the best.

    I know authors are human, but I’m not that great around people in general, so I’m still nervous. Oh, well. Imagine how I would feel if I could go to the Motiv8 tour…

    Yeah, I’m glad they updated it, I just wish they would have left the old design.

    I think we’re going to be able to go! My mom seemed enthusiastic, and I think my dad is convinced. I can’t believe I might actually meet Brian Jacques! I’m nervous. Have any of you ever been to a book signing of an author you liked?

    My sis and I spent awhile Sunday night decorating our room. We took an old, broken framey thing that my sis got for her birthday years ago, repainted it, gave it a new ribbon, and put a cool picture of a ship in it. Then we found some dusty old frames in the basement, cleaned them, (cutting my finger on the glass while doing this!), and framed some paintings of ours. Finally, we hung my sis’s wooden sword on the wall underneath them, and voila!

    The Redwall website has been changed!!!!!! :( It used to be so cool, with all the beautiful illustrations, and now it’s boring! I do like that it has been updated, and it has a better bio of Brian Jacques, but why did they have to change everything???

    On a much more cheerful note, I was studying the new design and accidentally discovered that Mr. Jacques will be on tour in the USA, and will be doing a book signing 48 minutes away from my house!!!! :D Now I just have to convince my parents that we need to go.

    We (my brother mostly) collect them. My sis, bro and I have an ongoing game that we play with them, so we get more whenever we can. They’re so much fun!
