You walk out of library books sales with tons of books.

You have run out of shelf space.

You want nothing but books for presents.

You want to name your children/pets after a book character.

You constantly comment ‘that wasn’t in the book’ when watching movies.

You know the release dates of all your favorite new books.

And a secret compartment in the desk would be nice.

My dream library would be fairly large, with floor to ceiling shelves. The only areas that would not have shelves would be the windows, to let in light and a breeze, and a cozy stone fireplace for the winter.

One of the shelves will contain a CD/mp3 player, stocked with all my favorite music.

In the middle of the room, there will be several comfortable chairs, each with a side table to hold drinks, bookmarks, and the CD player remote. There will also be a desk, well-stocked with paper, pens, and pencils.

It should have ceiling lights, and a good reading light by each chair.

I think that’s about it, except it should be stocked with blankets, pillows, and a box of tissues for sad books. Oh, and the books themselves, of course.

A secret passage would be nice, but optional.

This is sorta off-topic, but I don’t think Ms. Paul is too fond of me anymore. She has been having a bunch of contests on her blog recently, with beaded dragon bookmarks for prizes. I have now won 3 of those bookmarks. They’re pretty cool. :wink:
